The Clerk of Circuit Courts Office processes criminal, DNR and ordinance forfeitures, traffic, family matters, large civil, small claims, and restraining order actions. Processes fines, fees and restitution payments, register of officials, record searches, license suspensions and arrests and commitment orders for failure to pay fines. Schedules court interpreters.

January 4, 2016 Menominee County started accepting Electronically Filed cases on the following case types: FA-family, SC-Small Claims, and CV-Civil cases.

Hearings on Menominee County court cases take place at the Shawano County Courthouse located at 311 Main Street, Shawano, WI.

  • Pay in person at the Menominee County Clerk of Courts with cash, check, money order or for a processing fee debit or credit cards.  (Fee is collected by either CCAP or AllPaid and is not retained by the Clerk of Courts.)
Payment Plans:
Payment plans are available for defendants having fines totalling $250 or more.  Defendants are allowed 7 after conviction or release from jail (without huber) to pay or set up payment plan if eligible (if you wait until the due date on your Judgement of Conviction you WILL be required to make 1st months payment at the time of applying for a payment plan).  A $10 fee has to be paid in order to get on a monthly payment plan.  Payment Plan Application
