This program is able to provide intake, crisis assessment, consulting, linkage, and other services to promote care coordination for persons in a mental health crisis to include opioid addictions. The Family Intervention & Outreach Specialist will work closely with you, your loved ones, and/or clinical, medical teams in the pre-admissions process.
Choosing a treatment center is not an easy decision. We welcome you and your family to meet us and tour the facilities we work within Menominee, Brown, Outagamie, Marinette, and Marathon Counties. Under this program, NARCAN is also available. Narcan is a medication that can reverse the effects of opioid overdose by prohibiting narcotics from attaching to the opioid receptors in the brain. When too much or too high a dose of narcotics are taken it leads to death because it suppresses our respiratory drive, literally stopping us from breathing. Narcan bumps the narcotics off of the opioid receptors so that the brain can continue telling the lungs to breathe. There is a calendar that is available on our main page for those that are interested in using the Circle House up in Neopit. Please contact Human Services Department in regards to scheduling. |
