  • Radon is an odorless and invisible radioactive gas naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. Radon can get trapped inside homes and buildings, and build up in the air. Over time, breathing in high levels of radon can cause lung cancer.

    Anyone can order kits directly from Marathon County (they are our regional Radon Information Center) with no shipping fees.

  • Join Peer support specialist Dave Zanon and Advocacy Coordinator Autumn Nordall for an hour of reflections and support. Open to individuals whose lives are affected by disabilities or mental health. Third Tuesday of each month 6 - 7pm Join Zoom Meeting
  • Family Voices of Wisconsin - The Family Voices of Wisconsin (FVW) has completed a new learning session to make sure every family is prepared for their child’s enrollment in Wisconsin’s Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program.
  • Children’s Savings Accounts - Opening and funding CSAs for Native youth to help them build a nest egg of savings. 
  •  Oklahoma Native Assets Coalition - ONAC has been offering three types of free financial coaching to tribal citizens across the United States.
  • T Mobile - Free Internet access for eligible K-12 students
  • NAMI Wolf River Region - The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.  The NAMI Wolf River Region is a partnership between both Menominee and Shawano County to coordinate mental health resources for the communities.   • Shawano-Menominee Counties Community Health Survey The Shawano-Menominee Healthy Communities (SMHC) is a community health coalition working to improve the lives of the people in the two counties. As part of this year’s Community Health Assessment process, we are looking for members of the communities (Shawano/Menominee Counties) to help paint the current picture of our local community, through your own experiences and responses by completing this assessment. At the end of this assessment, you can enter your name for a chance to win a $60 Visa Gift Card.
